WebCalendar

WebCalendar is a PHP-based calendar application that is available in Fantastico De Luxe for easy installation. It can be configured as a schedule management system for a single person or a group of people (with an option for one or more assistants to manage the calendar of another user) as well as an events calendar that visitors can view and even submit new events.

WebCalendar is a feature-rich application with a user-friendly and intuitive admin panel that is available in 30 languages and even auto-detects the language preference from the browser settings. There is an option for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly view of the calendar. A really nice feature allows you to view the calendars of other users on top of your own via layers so that you can synchronize or compare. You can use configurable custom event fields and the software is also capable of performing checks for scheduling conflicts. There is an optional general access that does not require login to allow website visitors to view the events calendar. Reminders for upcoming events and notifications about new, updated and deleted events are sent via e-mail. Users can choose their preferences for colors, 12/24 time format and Sun/Mon week start.
