TikiWiki

TikiWiki is another wiki application that is included in the Fantastico De Luxe free scripts installer but it is a lot more complex and sophisticated than phpWiki. It is even described as a content management system (CMS) by its creators due to the numerous built-in features.

TikiWiki is indeed a powerful application that is rich in professional features. The slogan of the creators is “No matter what feature your site needs, Tiki probably has it” and it seems like they are right. They also pride themselves in providing all that functionality with built-in plug-ins that do not require downloading but simply activating from the easy-to-use admin panel. Tiki includes wiki pages, blog, forum, image gallery, link directory, events calendar, quizzes, polls and surveys. There is member registration on the site with nice user and group management. RSS feeds are also supported. Integrating all these features in the main code ensures conflict free collaboration and also allows the content to be re-used in different areas.
