Just like dotProject, PHProjekt also allows you to delegate tasks to different people or departments and track the progress online via Gantt visualization charts. But it is also a modular system that allows you to utilize only the features that will be useful for your particular project or business. That way you will have all you need for effective management but no redundant features to distract the users or clutter the system. The calendar modules are very complex and provide a lot of useful features such as sending reminders via e-mail or even SMS, posting comments on events, etc. There also is a resource reserving system for effective resource management.

PHProjekt is available in the list of pre-installed applications when you sign up for a Semi-Dedicated server or a shared web hosting package from the free reseller hosting program. It is easy to set it up with just a few clicks for an existing account as well using the web hosting control panel.
