How to chage a dediacted ip address

Providing that you have bought one or more dedicated IPs and you have already requested them in the IP Addresses section of your Web Hosting Control Panel, you should already be familiar with the process of acquiring dedicated IPs. If you are not, please refer to these two articles:

If you need to change the dedicated IP that you are currently using, you have two options:

1) You can delete the IP from the IP Addresses section of your Web Hosting Control Panel and request a new one. You may get a different IP address but you could also get the old one back. You could try repeating this procedure several times but there is no guarantee that you will get a different IP. This method is, however, the easiest and fastest solution, so it is worth a try before you continue with option #2.

2) You can request a different IP via a ticket and send it to our Support Staff. You must explain the reason for wanting a different IP address. Unless there is a valid reason, such requests are usually denied, so state the reason why you want to get your dedicated IP changed.
