Generate CSR Tutorial
In the SS "Generate CSR" Web Hosting Control Panel section users can generate a certificate request, which is required by any Certificate Authority before the user is provided with a digital signature.
The following information is required to generate a new CSR:
The Organization Name field should be filled in with the exact legal name of the users organization. It shouldn't be abbrevated or changed in any way.
The Organization Unit field is not required, although users can fill it if they have an Organization Unit name.
The Country field must contain the two-letter ISO abbreviation for the users' country.
The State field must be filled out with the exact state or province name that the company has used to legally register. As with the Organization Name, this should not be abbreviated or written in any way different than the name the company was legally registered with.
Users will also need to fill in their web server Domain Name in the appopriate field.
The last field requires the users' personal e-mail address.
Once all the fields are filled, click on the "Generate Request" button.
