1: Accounts Setup Examples
1.1
Product Offerings
To help you setup your account, you can read one of these 3 examples, showing you exactly how to setup your account in the desired way.
Example 1 : You'd like to sell web hosting, plus a domain name (separate prices)
If you'd like to offer web hosting and include a domain name with the hosting plan, start out by choosing which hosting package you'll be offering. Choose either Business/Corporate plan or, if you'd like to offer the two packages, check both boxes. Since you're planning on offering a domain name, be sure to select the "Sell Domain name with hosting" box, but leave the "Offer FREE domain name " blank. This way, the domain price will be added to the hosting plan price. Remember, you must have at least one of the product advertised on your main page. In order to do that, check the "Business" or "Corporate" (or both if planning to advertise both plans) box in the "Products displayed on the Index page" table. Now just click on "Save settings".
Example 2 : You'd like to sell web hosting
with a free domain name included in your
package
Here is what you must do if you've decided to offer web hosting and a free domain name as one whole package. Once again, choose either the Business/Corporate plan or, if you'd like to offer the two packages, check both boxes. Next, check the "Sell domain name with hosting" and the "Offer Free domain name" boxes. This way, the price of the hosting package will be reduced by the price of the domain. Remember, you must have at least one of the product advertised on your main page. In order to do that, check the "Business" or "Corporate" (or both if planning to advertise both plans) box in the "Products displayed on the Index page" table. Now just click on "Save settings".
Example 3 : Selling only web hosting
To offer only web hosting in your web store,
read the following instructions. Again,
choose either the Business/Corporate plan
or, if you'd like to offer the two packages,
check both boxes. After that, make sure
that both the "Sell Domain name with hosting"
and "Offer FREE domain name" boxes are left
blank. Remember, you must have at least
one of the product advertised on your main
page. In order to do that, check the "Business"
or "Corporate" (or both if planning to advertise
both plans) box in the "Products displayed
on the Index page" table. Now just click
on "Save settings".

1.2 Edit product prices
This is the section where we'll give a few examples on how to set your web hosting account prices.
First of all, be sure to make yourself familiar with the following price descriptions
1.2.1 Hosting Retail Price
1.2.2 Hosting Min. Price
1.2.3 Hosting Max. Price
1.2.4 Hosting Wholesale
1.2.5 Hosting Profit
1.2.1 Hosting retail price - This is the
estimated annual price. It's based on the
monthly price you've set, multiplied by
12 (months).
1.2.2 Hosting min. price - We've set a minimum
price for our web hosting packages. It is
currently $45.00 for our Business plan and
$90.00 for our Corporate plan. You can only
set a price for our web hosting plans above
these minimum prices.
1.2.3 Hosting max. price - As well as a
minimum price, we've also set a maximum
price for the web hosting packages we'll
be offering. The maximum price of our Business
web hosting plan is $200.00 and for the
Corporate plan - $400.00. You won't be able
to set a price above these figures.
1.2.4 Hosting wholesale - The wholesale
price of our plans (Business - $40.00 /
Corporate - $80.00). This is the price at
which our plans will be sold to you, the
reseller. These prices also cover all billing
and support expenses.
1.2.5 Hosting profit - This is the commision
which you'll accumulate from every sale
you make. It's based on the difference between
your annual "Retail price" and your "Wholesale"
price. Simply put, your profit equels the
retail price minus the wholesale price.
1.2.6 Domain name retail price - The domain
name price (annually) is $4.00 per domain
name.
1.2.7 Domain min. Price - We've set a minimum
price for the domain names. It is currently
$5.00. This is the cost your clients will
pay per domain. You cannot set a price below
our minimum domain name price.
1.2.8 Domain max. price - As well as a minimum
price, we've also set a maximum price for
the domain names we offer. The maximum price
you can set for your domain is $29.00. You
cannot set your domain name price above
our maximum domain name price.
1.2.9 Domain wholesale - This is the annual
price for one domain name. It is $4.00 and
includes all billing expences.
1.2.10 Domain profit - This is the commision
which you'll accumulate from every domain
sold. It's based on the difference between
your annual "Retail price" and your "Wholesale"
price. Simply put, your profit equels the
retail price minus the wholesale price.
Once you've made yourself familiar with the features, be sure to take a look at this example on how to set your web hosting package prices.
Let's say you'd like to se a price of $5.55 per month for your Business web hosting plan. The price, which you'll have to set in the "Retail price" field must be $66.60. This is because all plans are payed for a year in advance, 12 months at $5.55 each are equal to $66.60 a year. Once your client's 12 months are up and he decides to continue using your hosting, once he renews you will receive your commission again. You will get such a profit from every customer who has signed up for your each year, as long as he remains a client of your web hosting company.

1.3 Product Upgrades Example
Example for an upgrade:
If, for example, your customer has already been signed up for 6 of his 12 months of web hosting with you and has run out of storage space, he can upgrade his accout. If you've set a price of $5.00 monthly for every extra 100 MB storage and then your client will be charged for using 100 MB storage in the remaining 6 months period. In this example, the amount your customer will be charged is $30.00 ($5.00 monthly for 6 months equles $30.00). Your own profit from this order will be $16.80 as the wholesale price of 100 MB storage is $2.20 a month ($30.00 minus the wholesale price of $13.20 equels $16.80).
Every other upgrade is calculated on the same formula. The only exception is the Bandwidth upgrade. Your customer will purchase an amount of bandwidth which he can use until his period is over. This means that if your customer purchases 10 GB of traffic then he will be able to use these 10 GB of traffic for the next 6 months (until his account expires or is renewed).
Here is more info on the traffic upgrade
:
The traffic upgrade is not charged monthly but rather until the account is still active. For example, one of your clients, who has been using his account for 4 months, decides to upgrade his bandwidth traffic with 20 GB, these 20 GB will be available for use until the end of his 12th month (when the account must be renewed for the new annual cycle).
