.HOST Domain History & Purpose
The .HOST TLD was proposed and introduced to the world in 2014 and was quickly embraced by the hosting community. A lot of existing hosting providers quickly got onboard and registered a .HOST domain name for their websites as an alternative to their already existing domain name. What a .HOST domain name adds to a website is instant recognizability, a boosted credibility and better search engine rankings.
Also, with a .HOST being a recently introduced TLD, there are lots of available domain names which can be registered by anyone and which are easier to remember than a generic .com domain name.
.HOST Domain Registration & Reselling Services
With ResellersPanel, anyone can get a .HOST domain name for their reseller hosting store at an discount rate. By default, .HOST domain names are available only for hosting resellers and not available to customers, but this can be changed from the Reseller Control Panel.
For the moment, .HOST domain names can be registered only for 1 year. Hosting Resellers will be able to freely change the WHOIS of their .HOST domain names, but we don't accept .HOST domain name transfers. As with most generic TLDs, there are no special requirements for registering a .HOST domain name.
