Logging into customer accounts directly from Reseller Control Panel

Starting today, it is possible to log into clients' accounts. Every web hosting reseller can log into the accounts of each of his or her clients, if this is necessary or if the reseller wishes to do this for any other reason.

This can be done by opening the 'View Clients' section from 'Stats and Reports' of the Reseller Control Panel. The web hosting accounts that each reseller has sold are displayed there. On the right part of the table, there is a 'Login' link. This link gives you the opportunity to log directly into the account of your client (the web hosting account is opened in a new window). The logging into the client's account happens in 'Reseller Mode ON'. This means that the reseller has logged into the Web Hosting Control Panel from the Reseller Control Panel. When the client logs into the hosting control panel 'Reseller Mode ON' is not displayed.

In this way, all resellers, who offer web design services for instance, will not have to contact the reseller support of Resellers Panel, request information about the specific hosting account and lose time in communication. Instead, they will directly log into the client's account and will have the opportunity to use all services that are available to their client according to the settings of the specific plan.

In addition, clients' accounts can be renewed at wholesale price from the 'View Clients' section (the functionality is the same as it is with 'Manual Renewal', but this time the renewal of the client's hosting account is made directly from the client's hosting control panel).

How can you renew the hosting account of one of your clients through the 'View Clients' section?
It is very easy and the steps are the following:
1. Log into the account of a client by the name of John Doe, for example.
2. Click on 'Plan renewal' on the left.
3. Choose the desired renewal cycle and click on the 'Next' button (we currently offer only a 12-month account renewal cycle, but soon a monthly renewal cycle will be introduced)
4. The wholesale price at which the account can be renewed appears. Click on the 'Next' button and pay.
5. The account is renewed.

Notice that if you log into the web hosting control panel of your client from the Reseller Control Panel and want to renew his or her hosting account from there, then you will renew it at wholesale price. But if your client decides to renew his or her account by himself or herself, then he or she will have to renew it at the price that is currently set in your reseller hosting store.

In other words, if a year ago, John Doe bought a hosting account for $85.00 (annual subscription) and it is time to renew his account, and you currently offer the same hosting plan for $95.00, then your client will renew his account for $95.00, instead of $85.00, because $95.00 is the current price of the account.

We take into account the last price change that you have made through the Reseller Control Panel.

When your client renews his or her account by himself or herself, you receive the difference from the price that you have set and the wholesale price at which we offer the specific account as a reseller commission.

When you renew the hosting account of your client (regardless of whether you use the 'View Clients' section or the 'Manual Renewal' procedure), you will not receive any commission, because you will renew the account at the wholesale price at which we offer the specific account. You will have to settle the financial relations between you and your client in the way that you find most suitable.

We would like to reiterate that the opportunity to log into your clients' accounts is extremely convenient for many of you, because if you are working on building their websites for instance, you have the complete freedom to create sub-domains, to add domains, and do everything else that is offered by the hosting package.

We ask you to be careful, when you make any changes to the settings of the hosting accounts of your clients, because we are responsible to them and our web hosting service should be kept at the high-level usual for Resellers Panel.

We are responsible to your clients, especially when we have billed their credit card or PayPal account. If you buy the hosting accounts at wholesale price, we are responsible to you.
