The wholesale price for 400MB of additional disk space has been reduced from $2.20/month to $1.00/month and the maximum retail price for this upgrade has been reduced from $15.00/month to $2.50/month.
The wholesale price for additional 4GB of traffic has been reduced from $1.50/month to $1.00/month and the maximum retail price for this upgrade has been reduced from $10.00/month to $2.50/month.
The wholesale price for hosting of 2 additional domains has been reduced from $2.00/month to $1.00/month and the maximum retail price for this upgrade has been reduced from $10.00/month to $2.50/month.
The wholesale price for a dedicated IP address has been increased from $1.00/month to $1.50/month and the maximum retail price for this upgrade has been reduced from $10.00/month to $3.00/month.
The wholesale price for 3 additional MySQL databases has been reduced from $0.75/month to $0.50/month and the maximum retail price for this upgrade has been reduced from $10.00/month to $1.25/month.
The wholesale price for 10MB of additional MySQL space has been reduced from $0.50/month to $0.30/month and the maximum retail price for this upgrade has been reduced from $5.00 month to $1.00/month.
The wholesale price for SSH activation remains unchanged at $9.00 and the maximum retail price for this upgrade has been reduced from $30.00 to $15.00.
The wholesale and the maximum retail prices for registration of additional domains remain unchanged at $8.50 per domain and $15.00 per domain respectively.
Our free reseller hosting network's decision about decreasing the maximum retail prices for most upgrades is based on the fact that according to our statistics over 70% of web hosting customers who purchase an upgrade to their web hosting plan do not renew the plan when it expires. The renewal rate of customers who have not ordered upgrades is significantly higher. This why the reduced maximum retail prices for upgrades will decrease the customer loss due to inflated upgrade prices and will lead to better service renewal rates of customers with hosting upgrades, while resellers will be able to preserve their earnings with the decrease of the wholesale prices of the upgrades.
All resellers whose retail prices for upgrades are higher than the current maximum retail prices will have one month to adjust their prices in accordance with the current maximum rates. After the expiration of this period all upgrade prices that exceed the current maximum retail prices set by our system will be made equal to the current maximum retail prices automatically.
