We'd like to inform our web hosting resellers that to the new Control Panel for end customers have been added 3 new services:
Access and error logs
Custom MX and A records
SSL certificate generation
More information about these new services:
- MX records now supported.
You can now setup a different mail server from mail.SS5.com. In addition, you can now use IPs that are outside your network of subdomains. In other words, you can now use subdomains that are not hosted on our servers or subdomains hosted on our servers, but which have a different IP from your domain.
- SSL certificate generation
This service allows you to generate a SSL certificate. The certificate will not be signed by us, because we are not authorized to sign SSL certificates. You can use this certificate according to your needs. The web hosting Control Panel 2.0 allows you to upload a signed SSL certificate and the new certificate generation service that we have introduced does not interfere or limit this option in any way.
- Access and error logs
Access logs allow you to receive information from the raw access logs of all clients who have tried and succeeded or failed to access your site. You can download the raw access logs file from the 'Access and error logs' section of the web hosting Control Panel.
Error logs provide information about all unsuccessful attempts to access pages/folders on your web site. All types of errors, such as 404 or 304 errors, are listed in the error logs file.
All new web hosting customers can take advantage of these new features.
